From the adrenaline rush of downhill skiing to perfection on the ice, the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina showcase the full spectrum of winter sports.
Athletes will compete in 15 disciplines: from classics such as alpine skiing, biathlon, and figure skating to modern highlights such as big air and mixed team events.
Ski mountaineering is included as an Olympic discipline for the first time.
While Cortina thrills with legendary slopes and toboggan runs, Milan provides spectacular competitions on the ice. The Games combine tradition and innovation – and celebrate the Olympic spirit in its most beautiful winter form.
